Central Alberta | Wettable powders will accumulate inside the sprayer plumbing, like the scale inside water pipes.
When you use a product with detergent qualities, it can free up those wettable powders with whichever herbicide it was impregnated with, and release it into the spray mix. This is why we often saw crop kill for the first few rounds when we used Liberty for the first time. To prevent this, they recommended a good flush, using a strong detergent and ammonia.
