S Illinois | You hit the nail on the head. Everyone expected a seasonal rally(myself included) that didn’t happen and now is left wondering what to do. The last few years feel like the grain markets have shifted when it comes to seasonal tendencies. Be that funds, SA production, macroeconomic factors, the old store in fall and price in May-June is less failsafe. It’s interesting that many of the commercials are having a tougher time making money in the carry/storage game. Perhaps we are seeing the side effect of large on farm storage and more ethanol based demand. | |
