southern Alberta | Going to the sun road is scheduled to be open Monday. Not sure if you need reservations to drive it yet. Park website would tell you. I have driven over that road without exaggerating, 40 times or more, usually go over opening day. Live 2.5 hrs from the east gate of the park. I would recommend taking the red bus tour as there is so much scenery to take in & as a driver you need to pay attention to the road, especially if you are not used to narrow mountain roads. Seen lots of vehicles get injured on the rocks over the years. | |
