East Central South Dakota | That is the hard truth that kind of slaps me in the face. The OP has facts that are true and historically that would at least move the needle of some price moves. Today, however, we just kind of move sideways to lower in a range. As managed money/money flow continue to trade algorithms and AI it is probably a good discussion that historical ratios and fundamentals become less accurate and less of a player to the market. Today at this level we still have buyers and sellers, and grain is moving, so what incentive does the market have to change direction. Plus, at this price level, we continue to sell at healthy volumes. Until some fear, greed and emotion get to the corn market, the status quo will probably continue. Which, in my opinion, if we do see some panic buying on fear, it could be a pretty violent move up, maybe higher than it should go. |
