Those roofs were blown off. Filled with a forage blower and pipe. Google forage blower.
Still have the silo here that I can remember filling with corn silage, using a corn binder. Silage was chopped and blown into silo, via belt driven cutter/blower. I filled it with both silage and haylage, using a pull type chopper and a stand-alone blower. However, that silo has never had a roof on it (even after I put a self-unloader in it). |
