After owning a hybrid vehicle for over a year now I keeping thinking about all of the energy wasted when I brake with my pickup which is a non-hybrid. If we drive in a city we get 50 mpg with our hybrid RAV4. Then there is the brake maintenance on a non electric vehicle.
Think of all the gasoline you used to burn down those brake pads.
