How many pellets per batch? It's pretty cumbersome to load through the side door on mine. 4 bags per ton could be reasonable, but I wouldn't want to do 1/4 or more that way.
What's wrong with grinding the pellet? Maybe you just want to see that it's in there when you look at the feed.
