SWC TX | Here's some gold to get you cowboys by while you're waiting for it dry out!
Best stuff made 47 bu....felt like it should have all done better, but didn't get the best stand when we sowed into the mud last fall. A hot, dry March also hurt the yield I feel. Got lots of rain and cool whether in April - just a little too late for most of it though.
Combine ran like a champ. Got that issue of it overheating from last year fixed. It ended up being a broken spring in the one the valves on the big valve stack.
Had my 1st son born during one of the days we were cutting. Wife called and said hey I think baby is coming (two weeks early btw) - so hopped off the combine and made the short 3 hour drive to Lubbock and baby came 30 mins later!
