| I used my education from college all the time. BS in Agronomy. Funny thing is that I hated soils. Got a job as a soil scientist for a couple of years. That taught me a lot of soils. Then they brought out websoilsurvey. What a benefit to people on soils on a farm. The degree got me into jobs all the time. Best thing I ever did was go to college. Is it needed now? I am going to say yes and no. The education taught me things that I thought about farming and ranching that were totally wrong while I was growing up.
