Milford, IL | If you don't like the direction Windows is heading, maybe test drive Linux Mint. I bought a $15 laptop to use as a test mule and could not believe how far Linux has come since I last tried it. Stable, user friendly, update at your discretion or not at all. Its a 'light' OS and will run on ancient hardware.
And, like you said, you don't have forced updates with M$ looking over your shoulder and putting shortcuts to Microsoft Edge on your desktop. | |
