I experience the exact same thing, with this site being *much* slower than other sites -- only sometimes, not always. It doesn't consistently happen when doing any one thing. While I also do not encourage McAfee, I see no reason to believe that this website's performance is being in any way hampered by anything running on your computer. I use AgTalk from Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, on MacOS, Windows, and occasionally iPhone. I've seen it on all of them.
For what it's worth, I've done systems administration professionally for nearly 25 years, and web development on the side for almost 20. I'm fully confident that this is an AgTalk problem. (And if the sysadmins need any assistance, I'd be happy to help.)
