SW OH | Years ago it was cheaper for us to buy new 8X16 6 bolt wheels than 11L-15 8 ply implement tires. We probably have over 40, 16" wheels with used truck tires on them. We have 2 pickup trucks and several neighbors trucks that provide us with good used 10 ply 305 to 265/85R-16 tires. 235s will also work but a 6" wide wheel works better for them. They ride better and carry more weight than an 11L-15. We got the wheels from a local tire guy. Any decent tire place should be able to get them as well as Shoup.
