southern MN | 6 bolt implement rims do not have the safety rim that keeps flat tires on the rim. So they are their own pattern, so they don’t get mixed up with high speed vehicle rims. They were designed for 30mph and less.
They are the gold standard implement rim for all of agriculture I think starting in the 1960s and well into this century. Only when we got to the 200 hp tractors did implements and wagons outgrow the weight ratings of the 6 bolt.
Have to be many many thousands of them out across the countryside. 14, 15, and 16 inch.
