SE MN | Well, that's not exactly true. If your name is filed as a security interest then likely every time that farm sells something at an auction you will get a call to see if the auction company needs to put your name on the check. When they trade machinery you will likely get a call from the dealer looking for a release. You can also file to have your name on any grain check.
It is true that if push comes to shove you would have to take out the security interests filed ahead of you. But to say it means nothing is not true at all. | |
