Holly Hill, SC | Just finished harvesting wheat and it reminded me how awkward it is to climb on the roof and then even awquarder to climb in the tank to get sample to remove or test with my handheld moisture meter. I need a sample after harvesting 2 bushels not after the the needed 75 bu for the the little access door to work.
I need to make a pole with a scoop on the end of it to retrieve a sample while on the roof.
Your ladder looks good. I am OK using the existing rails but it would be nice to have a secure grip on the roof. Everything is plastic, not ideal to mount something. | |
