I haven't had a chance to listen yet (I listen to most of your posted videos when driving somewhere because they are long and detailed;), but you did post one a couple years ago that I found interesting. It was about the need for vitamin D from the sun versus the risk of skin cancer. It would seem to me that getting our vitamin D from the sun would be better than getting it from a manufactured capsule, but I don't actually know that. Slathering our skin (our biggest organ) in a chemical bath of sunscreen on a daily basis doesn't seem like the best idea, but melanoma is not good either. I have a niece that had a very serious case on her upper back when she was 21st pregnant. Because the melanoma got larger during the pregnancy, she was advised to not get pregnant again.
I do think the options (especially for kids) of the swimming suits with the long sleeves is a better idea than all of the sunscreen. There is a place for the sunscreen, but (my opinion only) putting it all over your body seems excessive.
