Get a jobe valve and install it through the side. Get the one that the float ball is attached with a string
This ^ looks to be the best current option out there right now, if you so not want to spend that much then add an inch or so on the mounting straps so the black float cover extends down past the corner of the tank that the float wants to sit on now.
