Subject: Abused Klein grass. Time to recovery.

I have a Klein patch that I own. I have IMO abused it for 2 years. I rented a patch that’s mostly Texas winter grass, but had a little of everything in it from buffalo to Johnson grass. I’ve even seen some Texas natives out there, but I’m not good at ID on that stuff.

I’ve been off a month and the Klein is looking great. It looks like in another month it will be recovered. We’ve had about 10” rain and weeds and trees sprayed since I pulled off.

How do you know when it’s reasonably recovered? Looks like another month and it will be all headed out. I think the Texas winter grass will play out in the next month and I will want to either move back or feed hay for a while.
