EC IL | I guess I'm the opposite of everyone here.
I tried all the best boots with every shoe insole(powerstep was my favorite). Wedge Thorogood boots seem to be better than heeled boots.
Crocs were my crutch and I wore them every time my feet touched the ground around the house.
Stretched with golf ball and towel on floor pulling with my toes.
But I felt like I never got better and when I walked barefoot for even a little bit I would strain my arch so decided to change it up.
Bought some barefoot boots(vivo barefoot) and have been trying to walk around the house without shoes on to toughen my arches.
I'm hoping that if I can toughen the arch without insoles that'll go a long way in staying healthy.
I can safely say I can walk barefoot around the house now without issue. The barefoot shoes I still have to watch that I don't strain my arch pushing it too hard sometimes so I'm not there yet. | |
