SE IL | It’s like anything, newer means having some bugs that will need worked out, along with failures and parts replacements that haven’t been done before. Compared to a couple years old tried and true with known capabilities. I guess put more simply the same reason you don’t buy a decked out new 24 row planter for 800 acres when much less will get the job done.
I would add also that DJi is by far the biggest drone manufacturer, and their future is uncertain in the US due to “security concerns”. Probably has more to do with protectionism type trade policy than security but what do I know. Anyway this has made some reluctant to trade up in the DJi world, but also due to differences in operating platforms folks are reluctant to go to another brand.To the OP Btw I have a 1 yr old T40 full kit that’s for sale for the right price.
