Hooker Twp,Ne | What concerns me is the 365 day deficit and the Jan 1 to now deficit. That’s our subsoil we don’t have.Will we get enough rains to catch back up? Right now the corn is almost knee high and sucking moisture out of the soil at abt 20-30 hundreds/ day. Yes it looks good now. But timely rains will be needed this summer or our subsoil will need to be replaced. These number don’t lie and anyone that thinks otherwise is a fool.
