EC IL | Ended up doing the all thread rod into an L bracket lagged to the soffit that I reinforced inside between two joists.
They're definitely 4x6s. But old and warped and have a tall pole on it so lots of swinging counter weight. Maybe the poles weren't installed deep enough or in concrete for all I know.
I didn't want to dig and put new poles in next to it because there's a ton of wires and gas pipe all in that area with the generator, solar, main power, some green main substation?... didn't want to risk hitting anything.
But thanks for the help guys. Definitely changed what I probably would have just slapped onto the siding with wood.
