No this sift started a while back, maybe q1 2024 when a couple of the MAGA elite posters were removed for post and this sitewent nuts demanding they be reinstated, the mod's caved and let them resume. The mods stated that they were acknowledging the fact that the posters on this site and especially those that made reports against other poster were about 25 to 1 right wing MAGA types. They stated that the posting public on this site by demanding that the posters with like minded political beliefs had made it almost impossible to censor the site so they were giving more freedom to posters to police themselves.
And what happens is those demanding reinstatement of the view they required, open it to views they don't want presented, are now demanded to be removed by the pocket protectors.
