East of Broken Bow | Went to a shoe store that had both the foot pressure point tester machine as well as knowledgeable sales people.
They hooked me up with the right shoes and inserts for my feet, and my plantar fasciitis is getting better all the time. Yes, I paid 10% more for the same shoes over what I could have gotten them at Amazon, but being able to try several different shoes to get the one that was just right was well worth it.
As to best shoes for plantar fasciitis, HOKKA makes one just for that, BIL got a pair because his feet were BAD, and will never be without them now. Cost $200+ for what look like tennis shoes, but he says they were worth every penny.
My feet weren't as bad, I was OK with Danner Viscious boots and the proper insert. I would call them more a hiking boot, but they are available in 8" tall versions that look a lot like a traditional work boot. | |
