I think it’s here to stay. If a guy is building a herd still today it’s not printing money. It’s a fairly normal profit all things considered. Most guys are not building, they are maintaining at best , but the culls are so high they are shrinking.
Back in 2015, cow pasture land cost 1/3 of what it does today. T post half as much. Pickup half as much. Everything has went up astronomically since then. Really a man’s paycheck is worth 2/3 of what it was then too.
