I wonder how little some actuality understand US defenses depending . Obviously you don’t. The US doesn’t spend billions to protect NA. It’s spends that to protect its interests. You really think the US would allow any adversary to take Canada over thereby allow a staging point for US invasion.
Some of you really do just make up reality to suit you outlook.
Edit: Let’s say Canada doubled their spending. So they bought half a dozen F35 planes and a destroyer. Does the US therefore decrease spending or procurement by that much for those items? Or does the US maintain the purchase of what it feels it needs to meet its own security needs?
