Subject: RE: Sidedress N after hog manure?

Northeast, Nebraska
I actually have tested both gasoline and diesel fuel for water and also had them tested for impurities and specific additives. Just for my own curiosity, not because I thought someone was out to get me lol. Plus it was a fun road trip and wanted to know who actually had the best quality gas. I have actually tested a lot of stuff just because I love science and I just like to know if I am being fed bs or not. I like trying to figure out how things work. I was always the kid that growing up took apart broken toys and electronics to see what was inside of them. Then after college, after I decided to come back home to farm, I got real big into field trials and trying to figure out how plants work and grow. That started as soon as I learned that adding more fertilizer doesnt make more yield. Im just starting to get into researching Soundwaves and frequencies and how they can affect plant growth.

I wasn't meaning to attack you and your comments, yes there can be a lot of variability in hog manure. Best we can do is try to get a good representative sample of what we are applying.

My mind went off on a tangent thought that led to my last comment so if you took offense, I apologize. That was not my intent. Just sharing fun facts I have learned that others may not realize.
