it tried to keep running the direction I had just moved it with the battery. I assume the monitor is telling it to continue the direction it thinks it needs to go.
Seems like the monitor loses track of where it has told the actuator to go.
You have burnt up the relay (or some piece of black magic/ voodoo) in the monitor.
The way that thing works is at the end of the stroke the amperage will spike telling the monitor to reverse the polarity driving the actuator the other direction.
There is a place in Kansas that will rebuild it, their name escapes me.
Buy another out of a salvage yard to get you by until you have yours back. |
