The old timers aren't doing anything but having one land auction after another here. The one coming up in a few days is seeded down and one of the big dogs already has his hay equipment fueled up to skin it off and the tillage tools hooked on to work it under.
Meanwhile, new crop mixed grass was $34 a bale today. Second cut from last year was cheaper.
