I run 40 tabs all the time in Firefox and rarely have any crashing tabs.

When I open Firefox all my favorite sites and daily check ins open as tabs in one window.

It's sort of slow to open at first but once up and running it will be trouble free for as along as the browser is open. I regularly clear cache, history, browsing though. Also regularly run CCleaner too .
