Subject: RE: Sidedress N after hog manure?

West Central Iowa
The Iowa soybean association addresses this on there on farm network trials, with their manure plus 50 tests. It's all about the spring rainfall. I think they used like March through June, with greater than 10 inches of rainfall then it pays. It's been my experience that if your using 100% crediting the n in the manure like your supposed to, in the wet years you'll get burned. 80lb. preplant nh3 makes the whole thing way more consistent.
