Based on samples we’ve taken you have nutrient rich manure. I question you having 54# of nitrogen per 1,000 gallons total, let alone available. Any chance you could post the sample results?

270# of nitrogen is plenty, but until mineralization takes place , and the roots find the nitrogen, your best results would come from nitrogen on the planter or early sidedress.


I'd like to see the results too and what he is treating his lagoons with. We have customers using our biologicals in their pits and lagoons that are achieving 50 lbs of nitrogen. Also increasing all of the levels of nutrients in their manure. Also the biology will make it more available to the plants when the manure is applied.
