Why not take a PSNT soil sample to get an idea what is out there, and what might be available. Here fall applied manure generally loses a bulk of the N before the corn crop needs it. Your higher OM soils might do a better job holding it, and if you've been using manure on the same field every year you might have more stored that will become plant available in season.
