Yes. That is why Feldman and Norwitz in their lean mass hyper responder study used a coronary angiogram. It can tell and measure the difference. Problem with it is it is a more costly and involved test compared to the CAC.
CAC isn't the end all be all. It is just a simple relatively cheap screen test that can alert people if they definitely have problems at hand.
