| We have a Bobcat 15c, but where we fence, I can hardly ever sink a hole without hitting rocks. I ended up buying a post driver for our skid steer, using 10 ft king corner posts, and 6 ft queen corner posts. The king post goes in about 5 ft 8 inches, the queen post goes in about 5 ft 4 inches. I have been able to drive them in exactly where I wan them even when hitting rocks. Corner posts are octagon galvanized, and the line posts are 8 ft 2 3/8 inch diameter oil well pipe. We don't use the auger much except to put a spool on it and wind up old wire or when we just need a hole for something, the driver is just so much easier and faster. | |
