| I can’t figure out what people want to hate on it so much. It works, that’s 100% scientific fact. Is it a true 100% replacement for 28%? No because it not the same thing. It doesn’t seem to work well in cold soils, which from what I know makes zero sense. All of the know it alls keep saying if it was nitrogen you could test it. But traditionally nitrogen is tested via the salt content, so that method doesn’t work because it’s not the same product. I’ve personally dipped a pool stick in and it lit up with all the nitrates, but those don’t go high enough to quantify how much is in there. So there has to be a way to test it. The fact is, it appears that if run it at a 2:1 ratio against 28% GL will actually out perform 28% yield wise and $ wise. If you run it 1:1 GL will lose by a few bushels but still make you $40/ac. Over a three year span the 6 head unit would cost you like $0.30-0.40 cents per gallon in order to pay for the machine in that time frame. I don’t think it’s a direct replacement for all N applications but I think for as cheap as it can produce a product that will replace some of my N it will make me a **** load of money in short order. I’m trying to figure out why some people want to act like that’s a bad thing? It’s like the DOGE of fertilizer. It’s not gonna do exactly what you hoped but it’ll still save you a bunch of money, and I’m good with that. | |
