| You could try running a generic or universal brothers print driver or a windows generic print driver to see if that gets you bye.
You don't really need all that fancy software that comes with the printer. All you need is "print driver". The driver converts the software code to hardware code for the printer to output.
You can find your print driver under your control panel > devices and printers> pick your printer> printer properties > advanced > driver. Try generic our universal.
Also, I agree with the above post. Be very very careful with that computer on the internet. Otherwise, you'll be buying a new laptop because you have to not because you want to.
