Central Iowa | It almost sounds like what you may be doing is starting with smart path and when you switch to using a straight AB line, you are hitting the "reset" button first, and then hitting "new pattern" and creating the AB that way. If you do that, yes, the smart path pattern will be gone if you didn't explicitly save it first.
What you should do instead (if that is what you have been doing) is when you are ready to add your AB line, instead of hitting "reset", there is another button with a A-B on it and then a screen pops open and you can hit a green plus button in there and then create a new AB pattern. This will keep your smart path going. You can go back into that screen to add or load or create other AB patterns if you need more than one in a field too.
Then you can still switch back and forth from your current "AB" line and smart path mode using that button with the straight and wiggles lines on it and the smart lines should be there. | |
