I like my Brother printer and would like to get a Brother Monochrome laser but talking to Brother they said the new printers don't have drivers for Win7. I am tempted to buy the Brother Multifunction laser and see if by chance it will run on Win7. I have a Win10 laptop but it doesn't have all the software my Win7 has and I find the laptop cumbersome to use. As to anybody saying "just get a new computer" or "upgrade to Win10-11" I have to say. NO. I can do all the things I want to do on this Win7 computer but changing means hours and a small fortune in new software if I change. Every darn iteration of Windows requires different software. My graphics program won't run, my office programs won't run, my video editing won't run, my CAD program won't run, a multitude of tweaks don't work, my audio editor doesn't run, and all of them are expensive to "upgrade" to Win10-11. |
