SW WI | carotenoids is in the green foliage when chickens free range darker orange yolks. Alot of corn as example makes yolks more yellow. Free range chickens eggs from what I read has more omega vitamins in it. Could never find alot on comparison free range eggs vs store bought.. I have chickens free range and people tell me rather have my eggs vs store bought.Of course my eggs are fresh vs store bought sitting in a cooler someplace for who knows how long. Also been told my eggs are not runny like store bought eggs. I dont know as have not bought store bought eggs in many years.
In califonia last year my niece made breakfast, scrambled eggs and etc. I did not say anything but the eggs tasted really funny to me and not in a good way. | |
