our male cardinal persisted at pecking on the living room window all summer one year, never came back tho, maybe because we tore out the bush (not bcs of the bird - it was overdue) the pair were perching in - I pointed out to Koskid the female was never silly enough to go after her reflection, it was the egocentric male that was so interested in himself ...
