Western Ontario | Well not all roses…lol….started the day finding a 2 year old that had calved the night before and loved her calf so much that she laid on it and was DOA……Had a cow that lost her calf 10 days ago and the next day had a set of twins so got one going on her which was a bonus. Also had a cow that died calving but I think the problem was she was on a slope and had herself cast and couldn’t get back up…..we figure she’s the first one we’ve lost calving in about 5000 or so births so been pretty lucky. | |
