I have the Google Pixel Buds Pro. Audio and call quality is good. When I mow lawn I turn on the noise canceling plus wear over-the-ear hearing protection.
I like my Apple Air Pods Pro 2's for tractor work as the noise cancelling setting works well there. I'm surprised that my voice is picked up well when I make calls. .
However, the noise cancelling doesn't seem to block out the blade noise on my lawn mower. Regular Bluetooth ear phones seem better.
I am going to try Lance's suggestion of using my Air Pods and over the ear hearing protection both. Since the Air Pods have the stem sticking down for volume etc. the over-the-ear headphones might not fit very well.
Later edit: after reading Lance's suggestion about using Buds with over-the-ear hearing protection I decided to try that combination this morning. I inserted my Apple Air Pods Pro 2's with a pair of rather light duty Sony headphones on top. I mowed some lawn with my Deere riding lawn mower.
I didn't expect the Sony's to help much but to my surprise the Sony's on top of the Apple Air Pods worked quite well. The Sony's seemed to reduce the high pitch whine from the mower blades and the Air Pods noise cancelling feature made music quite clear.
Mostly I listen to classic Rock N Roll which I have on my iPhone. I've heard the songs many times so my old brain sort of fills in any gaps. I have quite a collection of old time Radio programs (Gunsmoke, Johnny Dollar, Dragnet etc.), they were a bit more difficult to follow since the combination of less than ideal recordings and lawn mower noise was present.
I plan to use the combination again since I have the equipment and it was an improvement.
