A month's rest would be better. If you've used 28 acres, and that's half the farm, on 25 pairs, in my region, that would be a load. In my region, 2.5 acres to the rotated pair, up to three, is about right. I can't give a good answer on how many days I leave them in person acre because it's kind of a feel thing, I know people who manage better could tell you.
