We had a valued employee move on to be a conservation agent. He verified that they have a large portion of eagles chipped/tagged. SSS is not an option.

I would recommend you keep really good records, and take photos if you can of any animal losses from the eagles. I have heard of them quietly paying for losses.

We had a neighbor shoot a dog biting his newborn calves. It had a tracking collar with a blinking light on it. He loaded it in
the truck bed, drove down his driveway VERY slowly, and then up the road a mile or so. Then left dead doggie in the road and ran over it.....
