Getting a 2006 1790 JD planter hydraulic drive that is currently run by a brown box. Previous owner was running it through his deere tractor. I'll be on a Masey. Can I run/monitor the planter through an Ag Leader 1200 instead of the brown box? Monitoring seed flow, vac pressure, running the hydraulic drive, and reading pressure on fertilizer flow.

We do many of these things with my Ag Leader InCommand 1200 on our Deere 1770NT pulled by a Deere Tractor. Several modules are involved with my arrangement. We still use ground drive but hydraulic drive is possible. We have a module for section control of seed, Monitoring of seed/population, Down force, section control and rate control of spray and monitor starter fertilizer flow. The tractor (Deere 8310R) is steered by the InCommand 1200 which also handles turning around automatically at the Headlands.

Since we are working with more than one product at the same time we need the Multi-product unlock and also the TurnPath unlock for the automated steering to turn around on the Headlands.

We just use gauges to monitor the Vac pressure (eSets), the spray and fertilizer rates are controlled/monitored by modules connected to a flow meter for each product.

Various combinations are possible. It works very well for us.
