| No out crop is a 3-4 year roation and we cant spray roundup on it so evert 3/4 years we plow the field out and pull up the beds and spray roundup all summer on it until we plant in august to kill bermuda johnson grass etc weeds we can’t kill in crop. Alot of times its dry but wind is blowing to much to go spray it and not hit the standing crop around. Are typical field size is 10 acres spilt with headlands for harvesting in muddy conditions. I plan to replumb the flow meter and valve etc but i want to put the balls on it. The truck is going pick it up and another toolbar for me tomorrow so i will have a better idea of what i am working with. I was just trying to get a idea of how to plumb the balls. If it was one column per row or one column per tip with a manifold to each section. I plan to add 2 more electric valves to split it into 5 sections our row width is 74inch so i will have 4 sections on 74 width and one section on 222 width. In having one column per tip i should be able to have the same color ball in each column. If i went to one column per section i would have to play around with the middle section ball color to get them right. I honestly have no idea how many tips are on here and i may have to add some to do a broadcast.
I am very familar with the raven system and electronics. I plant to add a t on the inlet of the pump or inlet of the manifold so i can hook to saddle tanks on the tractor to get me more capacity. I have a pump mounted where the drawbar belly strap sits so i can either run two separate pumps and use a electric t valve to switch between rear or saddle tanks.
I will go ahead and get one column per tip and tie them together per section. For now i will run 3 sections until i can add to the manifold i will have all the hoses there for the redballs will just need to modify the balls and run a hose from electric valve to the manifold.
