As for how i handle things like that - if i don't like someone i avoid them . Ill tell them i dont like them directly .
I have been known to tell people to get the F. out of my space . simple and effective .
what i don't do is come back to the farm and let it ruin my day .
i very seldom let them cross my mind , heck i have had to see my x wife at a baby being born , EMT graduation , Fire graduation . Probally will have to see her at Firefighter events .
I act like shes not there , she wants to argue .I dont evean speak to her .
Last time i was meeting a captian at the school, she was in the background . burning mad , she had nothing to add to the conversation . Son was telling his captian all about dad .
Captian said , I heard all about you . You are a firefighter too. I said im not really like yall - im a vol.
He said Hell no you are a real firefighter just like us .
I said thank you sir , that means alot coming from
you . He said i ment it too .
X wife stood there mad , while we discussed FF and gear , ect .
The icing on the cake was when son said , lets go to lunch dad . She was not invited .
You can get back at people without doing anything .
I completly ruined her day , by doing nothing .
