NW IL | Either the radio in your base is weak, or the radio in your rover is weak.
It’s possible there is a bad or loose connection, or possible moisture got into the connections? I would try unscrewing all the radio antennas and cables, make sure connections are clean and then reconnect everything.
Start with the simple things first before you start spending money on replacement parts.
