Crossing the Mississippi on I94 is probably a bit more scenic than crossing at PDC.
Scenic is in the eye of the beholder. I figure 35 up to TC then 94 over to 29 over across WI is the "straight and direct" route. Going through PDC, or Redwing, Winona etc. looks more direct, but driving through the driftless region is not fast. La Crosse to Tomah is fine, but how to you get to La Crosse from Western IA? If you go up to 90, might as well go to 94, right? | |
